AWFS® Committees
Liaison between AWFS' Board and show producers. Charged with enhancing and strengthening the value of the AWFS Fair to AWFS members and non-member customers. Sub-Committees: College of Woodworking Knowledge and Student Design Contest.
AWFS Education Committee
Oversees scholarship programs, with responsibilities including evaluation of criteria and final determination of winners. The committee is also responsible for developing new opportunities for promoting and supporting technical/industry specific educational opportunities.
Develops services that will attract and retain members including education/research, public policy and other programs and services. Also reviews membership qualifications, dues and other issues pertaining to attraction and retention.
Monitors, counsels and acts on all appropriate issues relating to regional, state and federal legislative iniatives and regulations that could impact the association, its members and the industry.
